In Memory of Linda Storts

Mrs. Linda Cull Storts, age 71, recently of Quincy, IL and formerly of Tullahoma, TN died unexpectedly in her Quincy home on Thursday, February 7, 2013.
She was born April 30, 1941 in Bakersfield, CA, the only child of John Glenn and Opal Hoewing Cull. She married Buddy Wayne Storts, August 26, 1960 in Bakersfield. He died July 24, 1995.They adopted two sons, Charles and Kenneth, who survive.
Linda attended Belridge grade school in McKittrick, CA and graduated from Taft CA High School, then attended Bakersfield Junior College. She was employed in the banking field for many years. She retired as secretary of the Coffee County Ambulance Service in Manchester, TN in 2010 after 21 years of service. Linda joined the Bakersfield Baptist church as a young girl. She moved to Quincy, IL in August of 2012 and attended the Bluff Springs United Methodist Church ten miles north of Canton, MO, and was a member of the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her two sons, a grandson Justin Storts of Tullahoma, TN, and several cousins including C. W. Higbee of Quincy, and Dorothy Higbee and Howard Higbee of Canton.
Graveside services will be held Saturday February 16, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, 4758 New Manchester Hwy, Tullahoma, TN.

It is with deep sorry that Bill Petty passed away Sunday morning after an extended illness.  Bill was the regional consultant for this area until he recently retired.  There is a tremendous amount of EMS personnel who have been effected in theirlife with his guidance and help through out their career and will be deeply missed.  After retirement Bill still would come around and visit.

 

Mr. William T. Petty, age 63 of 538 Highland Ave. Lewisburg, passed away October 12, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Petty was the son of the late L. E. Petty and Katherine Taylor Petty. He was retired from the State of Tennessee as Regional Director of EMS and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg.

He is survived by aunts Beulah T. Wilson and Pollye Taylor Hundley, uncle and aunt Roy and Maxine Petty all of Lewisburg and several cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Petty will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Claude McMillion and Bill Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Race Wilson, Thomas Wilson, Richard Land, Tommy Wilson, Will Wilson, and James Holzemer. Honorary pallbearers are members of Marshall County Ambulance Service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.

Frank not only was an EMT but was the director in Lincoln County for a while.  Frank was also

an EMT instructor and taught quite a few people over the years and then later at a hospital.  Frank will be missed

very much is an under statement.
